Dr. Adeniyi Justus Aboyeji
Pioneer Deputy Director (Academic),

Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts

HE is a Reader, former Postgraduate Co-ordinator in the Department of History and International Studies, and currently, the pioneer Deputy Director (Academic), Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in History and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, among other degrees. He is a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN) and a Member of its Committee on Research Grants and Special Projects. He was co-researcher for the 2016-2017 TETFund Institution-Based Research Fund Award and currently co-researcher of the Unilorin Senate Research Grant (SRG) (Special Intervention) 2021-2022 Award and TETFund National Research Fund (NRF) Grant Award 2023.

His research interests straddle Inter-group Diplomacy and Economic History with particular reference to the Igbomina Cultural group in North-eastern Yorubaland. This interpolative bearing is not unconnected with the socio-economiccum-cultural and political changes that have come to bear on the Igbomina people. He has published widely in indexed journals and notable chapters in scholarly books. He has attended both National and International conferences with papers read. He is also a visiting faculty/lecturer to other institutions.

Aliy Abdulwahid Adebisi

Aliy Abdulwahid ADEBISI, is a Deputy Director, Administration, Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts, University of Ilorin. He is a Senior Lecturer with 15 years university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He teaches Arabic language/culture and Translation studies. His research majorly focuses on Arabic Language/Culture & Literature, Translation with three working languages Arabic, English and Yoruba. He holds B.A (Ed) Arabic, M.A in Arabic language, PhD. in Arabic language and literature and post graduate Diploma in Journalism.

He has to his credit over thirty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, chapters in books and Books. He has successfully supervised four Masters Dissertations while two Ph.D. theses in progress. Dr. Adebisi is a fellow and National president, Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters. He is also a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria. He has a grant awarded by British Academy on African Translation and Interpretation Studies writing Workshop in South Africa. He is currently on sabbatical leave at the Department of History and International Studies, Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria.

AbdulGafar Olawale FAHM, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Religions, University of Ilorin,Ilorin. His research focus is Islamic Spiritual Culture and Contemporary Society with emphasis on Islamic thought and civilisation, philosophy, ethics, and contemporary issues as well as Muslim world issues. He is equally interested in cultural studies and religious relations. He is a member of African Association for the Study of Religions (AASR), National Association for the Study of Religions (NASR), Nigerian Association of Teachers of Arabic and Islamic Studies (NATAIS) and American Psychological Association (APA). Fahm has published widely in reputable outlets both locally and internationally.

Ayodele Joshua Adesina
Pioneer IT Officer,

Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts

J. A. Adesina is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Ilorin, Ilorin and Pioneer IT officer at the Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts.  He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng) in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Master of Information Technology (MSc.) from University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. Engr. Adesina is a Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered Engineer.

His area of specialization is Cloud Computing with research interest in various models of infrastructure deployments, Data Centre design and deployment, Virtualization technologies, Computer Security. He teaches courses in Computer Organization and Architecture, Computer Security techniques, Data communication and computer networks. He is currently supervising several undergraduate students on research spanning embedded systems for the automation of services.

Famuyiwa Shola Temitope

With 10 years dedicated experience in library management and a passion to fostering academic excellence. Famuyiwa,Shola Temitope is a seasoned Librarian at the Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts. She had worked with a team of librarian, successfully executed initiatives in library usage and patron satisfaction.

Highly skilled in digital literacy, information retrieval, cataloging and classification of resource materials. Combines theory and practicals in her teachings to aid collaborative learning and research work.

She is a registered member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and Librarians’Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). Lectures at the department of Library and Information Science.

Kehinde Adedamola Olalusi

Kehinde Adedamola Olalusi is a lecturer in the Department of the Performing Arts, Faculty of Arts, he is a Dance scholar and Practitioner with years of experience in teaching and practice. His area of interests are Dance Education, Dance Training and Practice, Dance and Drums Aesthetics. He is the Curator of the Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts

Kingsley Temitope Bello, agraduate of Accounting (B.sc) at kogi state University, Anyigba now Prince Abubakar Audu University, kogi state Nigeria, joined the service of university of Ilorin on September 2016 as a bursary staff. He is an Accountant 1 with the University of Ilorin Bursary. He is the pioneer Centre accountant.
